help with lightwave 7 please

hi, im starting to learn to use lightwave 7 modeller and was just after some info

i'm following a tutorial to make a nissan 350z car and it says to make some polygons "planar" i've hunted through all the buttons etc but can't figure out how to do this without dragging points manually any help would be appreciated

lightwave...hmmmm what is it used for? is it like Maya?

Lightwave is similar to Maya and 3D SMax. Hey Aaron...try posting your question at www.3Dhaven.com You may get more 3D guru's at that site.

i know lightwave pretty well...sorry i've been away from GDF for so long. mind pointing me to the tutorial that you're using? are you creating these polygons, or are you editing already established polygons?

i ran into similar issues when learning Lightwave. the best thing to do is to pick up Dan Ablan's Inside Lightwave 8and read it. going through tutorials you find on the web (which are often created by bored teenagers) is definitely the slow route.

in the meantime, if you have any questions please post the tutorial you're having trouble with so we can work through it together.
