On another note, there’s nothing saying you can’t copy the .acb files to the 2023 folders…
I’m not recommending this guy’s homebrewed 1280-color Pantone approximations, but it’s something I found on the Wired site to consider.
The library is free, and I just downloaded and installed them. He’s avoided using the word Pantone for his colors for seemingly obvious reasons, but the numbers seem to match up with the Pantone swatches (at least the few I’ve checked).
I’m guessing that to avoid confusing printers, the swatches might need to be renamed to Pantone as you use them.
As I said, I’m not recommending this. I’m just playing around with them to see if there are problems.
