Since you are not looking for a job in web development, you could always go the Wix or Squarespace route. I have never priced them, so I don’t know how they compare to a self-hosted Wordpress solution. I’ve seen some pretty nice looking sites off of those platforms these days.
I do exactly the same and for the same reason.
