That Sunday in the Park with George isn’t right. I went by the local river trail and there were so many people there the cars were parked on both side of the road for a 1/4 mile each way. Same with the local state park. People are frantic to get the kids out of the house some how. With all the playgrounds and school facilities closed it’s tough.
Well, ya can’t have a party wthout finger food.
What’s with the teddy bears outside people’s houses? Was noticing today quite a number of them. Had to go out for a drive. It’s kinda funny how much I (sorta) miss my commute and the driving music on the radio.
Something to get little minds off the negative. Neighborhood “bear hunts” are really just a scavenger hunt by distance. Folks put teddy bears and or other stuffed animals in their windows or out on the lawn or in a tree. While kids take walks or a drive with their parents. they can keep an eye out for bears. Some kids are dressing up in Safari gear.
We have much the same here. We have #518RainbowHunt and it works just the same. Kids take pics and then the parents post all that rainbows they found on their walks.
We also have #ChalkWalkArt When it’s not raining … folks have been drawing little games on the driveways and sidewalks for little kids to play while walking. Hopscotch, Follow the line, etc.
I’m already exhausted about thinking about being a parent right now lol
this has always been the rule of thumb, or dumb.
