Anyone who wrote “God Only Knows” or “Heroes And Villains” can secure a place in pop music. Brian Wilson wrote both.
I’m honestly not sure why, but I’ve always had an affinity for “Sloop John B”. I mean, there are so many great Beach Boys songs, but I’ve always enjoyed that one.
Aww I Loved all his music. I know he had a rough go of things for a while health wise. RIP Brian
This makes me very sad. Other than the Beatles, I can’t think of a more important 1960s band than the Beach Boys. I always disliked them as a kid; I thought their music was corny and uncool. As an adult, God Only Knows, Good Vibrations, and Wouldn’t It Be Nice are three of my favorite songs. Without Brian, there would have been no Beach Boys.
This comes as a bit of a shock. She had a huge presence on The Food Network. There is no reason given. She was only 55 RIP Anne
Not having access to Food Network and not being a follower of celebrity chefs, I have never heard of Anne. But 55 seems far too young.
I had not heard of her either, but a couple of Google image searches showed that she had interesting hair.
I never watched Food Network all that much … but she caught my attention with the hair way back when. She and Guy Fieri got popular around the same time. I thought FN was trying to get everyone to go bleach blonde and spiky!
Actor, singer, and teen idol from decades ago, Bobby Sherman dies. I’m really feeling old now.
I had such a crush on him when he was in “Here Come The Brides”. I was so little I couldn’t say his name right. It always came out Jermmy (Jeremy) It’s where David Soul also got his start. And of course my cousin, Julie just adored him.
RIP Bobby
As a Liverpool fan I am devastated
Shocking passing of Liverpool player Diego Jota and his brother Andre Silva.
Jota had just been married 5 days previously.
That’s a crying shame. RIP.
That’s so sad Just married and 3 children
I just heard Julian McMahon has died. He was only 56. They aren’t giving many details other than he was diagnosed with cancer not long ago. He was in so many great things - Nip/Tuck, Red, Fantastic Four, and Charmed to name a few. And a little trivia, his dad, William served as the 20th Prime Minister of Australia in 1971. RIP Julian
