Ah Tim Curry, I always remember him for IT. And one of my fav TV shows as a guest character as Nigel St. Nigel. His portrayl in Rocky Horror Show and IT are the most memorable. What a sad loss, RIP.
Rocky Horror was an annual event in my younger years. Every Halloween. Shopping bag full of “props” (toast, newspaper, water pistol, toilet paper, etc. No eggs allowed.) Didn’t dress in character though.
We always wondered if there was a city or town in the UK where everyone had that accent.

I believe he got the accent from two people sitting on a bus for the Rocky Horror Show.
It’s that overly posh accent - you should look up Hyacinth Bucket of Keeping Up Appearances (also recently RIP).
Not that it’s the same accent but give you an idea.
Tim Curry’s actual accent. I’d assumed Frankenfurter was an affected one.
Oh yeh that’s a British accent. It’s posh for sure. @sprout might be able tell you more.
I’ve been several times to see it in costume with a bunch of friends. The theater shows were the best. I tell you what though - high heels and fishnet stockings, never again …

The Rocky Horror Show played every Saturday night at midnight for years at the Blue Mouse Theater here in Salt Lake City. I went once, and that was enough.

People were tying red balloons on sewer grates in memory. Gotta think he would have loved that.

I wonder if the sewer grates were just a convenient place to tie the balloons, or if there was another statement being made, as in “We’re glad the royal sewage is gone”? I’m not at all familiar with Norway’s royal family or how Norwegians view them.
The red balloons are a tribute to Tim Curry and his portrayal of Pennywise in the movie IT by Stephen King 
Red balloons are how he lured his young victims.

Or I got mixed up, which is far more likely. I read red balloons and instantly associated it with Norway’s red flag. I must not have slept well last night.
