How about ten worst? Or worst actors/actresses?

I’ll have to think about those. I don’t hate many movies … some make me roll my eyes. Things I know I won’t like I just don’t watch

One I did watch that was a remake … and remakes usually pale in comparison as far as I’m concerned and this one proved my point.

The Wicker Man - It was almost painful to watch it was so bad.

… I’ll be back with more after I’ve had some coffee

Literally any movie on Hallmark Channel qualifies for the Worst … and Actors and Actresses, for that matter.

Then there are films that are so bad they are good. Mama Mia, for example.

I will agree with that. I see people freak out over Hallmark Christmas movie time and I really don’t get it. They are soooooo lame. If lame is a cool word to use anymore

And I agree with Mama Mia … I loved it. I kind of even liked part II. Cher was great as always.

One that always comes to mind as “so bad, it’s good” is The Room. Produced, directed, written, and starring daytime-vampire Tommy Wiseau. It is so ridiculously bad that you can’t stop watching.

I’m giggling again just thinking about it

Just watching the campy Pierce Brosnan is a sheer treat. How can he live down the Bond fame I’ll never understand. Best Worst Actor? Worst Best Actor?

I think there can only be one … in my mind anyway … Nick Cage

He is a conglomeration of both categories

Arnold Schwarzenegger comes in a close second - True Lies is one of my all time favorites and there are times that only an Arnie action flick will cure me

The difference is:

Nicholas Cage tries too hard, though I must say he was pretty good in Guarding Tess.

Schwarzenegger? Don’t think he ever tried.

lmao … You might be right

and yes… Guarding Tess was a fantastic movie. I just watched that again a few weeks ago. Someone uploaded it on YouTube. I watched it quick before it got deleted lol :stuck_out_tongue:

Can I nominate Sylvester Stallone for worst actor?
He is pretty much Rocky no matter what role he is in, and that one may have been perfect typecasting.

lmao … yep he is right up there  He played the Rocky role well … but as you say that trailed over into every other role he played as well  I did like the original Rambo movie … but like Rocky, the sequels got more absurd as they occurred

Rambo was Rocky with a big knife.

It took me ten years after Sean Connery’s last Bond role to accept, yes, he actually could play other roles.

I love Sean  I really loved his performance in The Hunt for Red October and in Indiana Jones and the Last Crusade.

Then you should see him in The Hill, A Bridge Too Far and a small role in The Longest Day.

“Son, I’m sorry. They got us.”
