I am a reader, writer, and editor by nature and education, but when I moved from the city of Chicago (North side) to the Denver area and then up into the hills, I started studying graphic design and illustration by taking online classes at Parsons, SVA, UMass, AAU, RMCAD, and RISD. I did not complete any certificates, but I did learn a lot of stuff. I take a lot of pictures and try to master the intricacies of gouache while doing a lot of this and that in Photoshop and web design on the side. I live up here with my hubby and my doggie and the deer and the bears and all the other ‘nature’ things that come along with this locale. Also, I love sewing.
