I have a BA with a concentration in graphic design. I’ve served as production designer, graphic designer, production manager, art director, print buyer, photography director, creative director and wherever help is needed at the time. My biggest blessing (even though I didn’t see it at the time) came when I was an art director and one of my teammates who was an excellent typographer and typesetter constantly challenged my decisions and directions. It helped me articulate what and why and taught me quite a lot in an unexpected way. Which is why I’m very happy to see this forum and be a part of it! I think given the chance we can all learn something from each other and I hope to never stop learning!
