Anyone else running Illustrator CC 2026? When the zoom tool is selected, the cursor does not change to the magnifying glass. It looks the same as the selection tool (solid arrow). This is driving me nuts since I switch back and forth between those two tools on a pretty regular basis.
Try turn on or off the gpu performance and restart illustrator. You can turn it back on later. Gpu performance is only really useful for hidip monitors.
Another thing is your display is set to anything than 100 percent try toggle it in aystem prefs.
Or switch to another workspace and bakc agiain.
Worst case try reset preferences.
Pretty sure its a know bug.
You could always roll back if its not fixing for you.

I just updated on Wednesday. I don’t have the issue you mention.
They sure did hide the location where you turn off the static artboard number.
I’m sure there’s a reason to put in Selection & Anchor display…
Looks like a good, old-fashioned restart took care of it.
