Any body knows how could I do this 3d effect of the mountain on this map?

Hi @Marmora,
This is not a 3D effect of the mountain. It’s a plain illustration using color variation. You can also use the 3D Extrude & Bevel option (Hard way).

Looks like Photoshop’s Bevel and Emboss turned up to maximum to me. I can only assume Illustrator has a similar effect you could apply.
