I like the size. A 15-inch display was just small enough to be frustrating. I missed the older 17-inch machines.

I’ve always used desktop computers – mainly for the screen real estate.

I like the portability of a laptop, which behaves exactly like a desktop machine when connected to a desktop monitor. It’s more expensive than a straight-forward desktop setup, but it’s worth it for me given that I have several locations where I work.

I have a laptop and a large external monitor which I use with the laptop when at home. Best of both worlds.
