Apple to drop Adobe Flash support in next version of Safari

Google had already announced they’ll officially end Flash support with Chrome at the end of 2020. Apple announced it too. Currently, both Chrome and Safari support Flash as a built-in plugin that is typically toggled “off,” but can be switched on when a site with Flash is presented.

For anyone that has designed websites and thinking “wasn’t this already dead?”… well, it will be soon.

Microsoft Edge seems to work without flash enabled
i stream lotsa sports.

Yes, almost none of the streaming companies use Flash anymore. I remember when YouTube went to an HTML 5 player, and there were bugs, but ultimately it went smoothly.

Firefox will run flash until December 2020.
