I’m a newbie here, so don’t hate on me too much! I’m just starting out and building my skill set. I was wondering if anyone knows the font used in the R&B lockup, or if this is a custom illustration?

We all are beginners ! (and I am not a very experience designer). The font used for the R&B seems to be a gothic font or middle age font (modified). Btw no one is going to hate you (we are here to help not to hate) and I made a small research seems to be Catenbury Regular (modified).
@mluxgd When I searched for Catenbury Regular, all that comes up is Canterbury Regular - is that what you meant? If yes, I don’t think it’s the font used for R&B - the R would’ve had to have been highly modified and the &B are completely different.
@PhilHudson Aside from knowing that this logo is associated with Ibiza Rocks for one of their events, I couldn’t find any further information on the logo. It’s difficult to do a font match as the image itself has a lot going on and the letters are too stylized for a font finder to pick up for matching. Although I can’t say for sure it’s custom lettering, the R&B definitely looks custom while the word ‘affair’ looks like a font, though, if the whole logo was hand lettered, it could be custom as well. It’s difficult to tell for sure, so to get a clear, definitive answer, your best bet is reaching out to someone involved in the creative department for Ibiza Rocks Group (you can do so via their LinkedIn page!).

Sorry Steve, I didn’t wanted to make it general, what I wanted to say is that everyone is a beginner in the past not in the present (I didn’t specify that in this post). But yes there are a lot of experience people in this forum and I want to learn the best from all of you !
