Very high chance of seeing the aurora tonight
- maybe as far south as Texas.

I’ll be outside tonight looking for it. We’ve had several this summer, but this one could be the most vivid. The sun is at solar maximum in its 11–12-year cycle, and it’s really been putting on a show.

The C/2023 A3 Tsuchinshan-ATLAS comet is supposed to make an appearance tonight as well
