Anyone used GIF Brewery?
Or any other options?
I’m looking for a simple gif maker, or barring that, something that converts dumb-Mac MP4s to gif. I’ve used GIFfy online but it downloads as MP4 also.
Premier is probably learning-curve overkill.

Maybe this will help. I’ve used this online site to do a quick mp4 to gif conversion here and there. It’s one of the less clunky and seems to do a pretty good job of converting.

After doing some stuff to the MP4 in Photoshop.
Only thing, I wish I could slow down the playback speed. I tried changing fps, but that only seemed to affect quality and file size.

Yay! Glad it helped. I have seen a couple other online gif converters that also mention the ability to change speed … but I haven’t tried any of those 
I think one was called EZgif or something like that … but I have never tried it.
Try for GIPHY it is easy to use and it even provide with sound.
