Follow up question. Have been working with tables as Smurf suggested and it’s going fairly well. Not entirely sure why, though, it will not allow me to drag the table height any more than this. It simply stops. It appears that I can drag up that table flush with the baseline of the credit text, but no?
I didn’t mean to use tables for everything though - just odd situations where you couldn’t get the anchor to work.
You’re almost there with your settings.
You just need to change the Maximum to be larger.
Yup, by default the max height on a table maxes out to 8 1/3" or so. You can go into table options and change the max height to whatever you need.
No, it’s cool – just using tables for where it is convenient.

Fun fact - you see these strange 8.3333 and other numbers in InDesign as the original settings for the measurements are done in Picas and Points, and it’s a calculation to whatever measurement system you’re using, mm/inches/etc.
