Came across a great tool that checks if your logo idea already exists. Could be useful: https://logoradar.co/
I would not rely on this.
I tested two Logos from European Trade Mark Search Tool.
- One was from Pearl Music Europe and was recognized correctly as probably taken by Logo Radar.
- But the other by IIC-INTERSPORT International Corporation was incorrectly labeled as safe.
Both Logos are protected as registered trademarks.
That’s fair. It does catch obvious visual overlaps (like your Pearl example) but it won’t catch everything — especially less direct similarities. So it’s useful as a quick first check, not a guarantee.
Google already does that and this too: https://www.tmdn.org/tmview/#/tmview
Google and TMview are great — but they’re built for legal search. Logoradar is more for designers and helps catch visual similarity, clichés, etc
Anything that says it’s safe to use a trademarked logo isn’t helping anyone catch anything.
And legal searches are what companies should be doing before paying a designer for a logo.
