I drew an image in procreate and want to make it look like it was done digitally - basically smooth out the lines into a series of smooth arcs. Image attached for reference. The only thing I’ve tried so far is using Trace Bitmap in Inkscape but that gives me weird arcs and when i try to edit the nodes it changes the thickness of the line, etc. I want to create very smooth lines without thickness or constant thickness using as little arcs as possible if that makes sense. Strangely enough the only software I think I would know how to do this on is AutoCAD but I don’t have access anymore as I am no longer a civil engineer
This is such a simple shape. You can easily draw it by hand in 2 minutes with like 12 points using Bézier curves.
@Joe is right. This would literally take no more than two minutes to draw from scratch in Inkscape or other vector software.
Auto-tracing rarely yields good results. In this case, it seems to have created filled shapes instead of lines.
I’ve never used Procreate, but doesn’t it have configurable smoothing functions built in?
