I’m new here so I’m sorry if this is a weird question but, I’m designing a CV and I want to add months to the years but everything I’ve tried so far makes it look horrible. Any ideas?
My first idea would be to abandon that idea.
But if I really wanted the months, I might experiment with something like this:

I suggest you to drop your idea. I don’t think there is any need to mention months, year is enough! Choice is yours 
As a graphic designer it may be tempting to use graphics but the computer systems HR runs your resume through before a person will see it will not comprehend that.
Although i’m not big on them id focus on a leave behind or something the interviewer can remember you by. Although during this virtual world i’m not sure what that would be
