Does anybody know of a tutorial

…that would help me make a 3D globe in the shape of a heart in illustrator? it can be semi-flat also, like slightly curved. if not, can you tell me how to do it? or where else i could ask?
thanks!

Do you have access to Adobe Dimension? It’s part of the Creative Cloud.

As Just-B says, Dimension is a good place to start. It’s probably the most simple to use. If you want to get into 3D without the big bucks the software usually costs then you could try blendr as a tool to learn.

Be warned though, if you have never done any 3D modelling and Ray-traced lighting before, there is quite a steep learning curve. You will keep losing things behind your head initially. We spend most of our lives converting a 3D world into 2D. You have to make a congnitive leap into 3D on a 2D screen. Fun, but make sure you have a fair bit of free time to get your head around it.

I used blendr years ago in a fairly early incarnation and even back then it was pretty good for free, open source software. Giving it a quick glance now, it appears to have moved on leaps and bounds.

There s also some 3D capability in photoshop.
