Hello Everyone, I am a beginner at graphic designing, and I’d like to get feedback from you, thank you
Reverse copy over a light background is never a good idea. I can hardly read the text. Type sizes also need some work.
It is still a fair way to go from graphic designing to graphic design.
This is your first post, and you are sharing work for feedback. I hate to be harsh under those circumstances, but I have to tell you the truth. There is nothing here that would suggest this was created by someone who has even a tenuous grasp of design principles and typography. I am not saying you can’t get there, but I am saying you’re not there yet.
@Steve_O Thanks for your honest feedback. I appreciate it. To be real, I’m not a designer or anything like that. I just started messing around with this out of curiosity, and over time, I got into watching videos and trying things out. I posted my work here to see how others view it and get advice to improve. I know I’m far from where I need to be, but that’s exactly why I’m here, to learn and get better. If you have any tips or resources to help me understand design and typography more, I’d love to hear them. Thanks again for taking the time to help me out!
I’ll say this for you, you took a harsh critique in stride and didn’t huff off with your feelings hurt. So good for you for that. Being able to take criticism is a good skill for a designer to have — or anyone for that matter.
