I’ve been asked to create some nice maps. I’ve used snazzy maps and a few others, but I’m wondering if anyone has some other recommendations. 
Assuming the client was looking for a stylized / design-y map like this, I’d get a screen grab of a map to use as a template and create the art in Illustrator. I’m not familiar with snazzy maps. I’ll have to check it out.
The bottom two look a lot like google maps. You can pay google to use a section of their maps. BTW, you’re supposed to do that if you “use it as a template” too.
Whoa. That sounds like a lot of work to me.
