Currently working on the uvw unwrapping and painting
I’ve been dipping my feet into 3d modeling in Blender as of recently. Nothing quite this complex. Mine are much more basic shapes or text and goofing with liquid physics to see what I can make to incorporate into designs.
I think you did a nice job on the character. What do you plan to do with this model?
Unless the fabric is extremely elastic, I can’t see how the creature put on or take off the pants.
And to a lesser degree, the upper garment too.
Oh yeah, for such advanced species, don’t they worry about getting their feet dirty?

Its chitinous armour.
not really meant to ever be taken off 
Just learning how to model and paint really.
at some point I am going to have to learn how to properly animate but rigging bores me tbh
I am ever so slowly getting enough pieces together to make some scenes proper scenes
I worry about their personal hygiene. They must have a robust deodorant industry.
That’s if they perspire or have b/o
Their feet could naturally shed skin to expel dirt. Or they could absorb nutrients or breathe through their toes.
I’d hypothetically say they’ve enslaved a race of people with dexterity to dress them, or maybe some advanced clothing machine.
Could be just tesraways too.
Maybe their appendages can morph into different tools, claws, hammers, hands, spears etc.
Anything is possible.
There’s a reason why Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Donald Duck don’t wear pants.
