Hey all, Im a 3d artist learning graphic design. Right now Im recreating the Hoverboard from Back to the Future & I would like to remake the board decal (hi-rez) instead of using the image texture, but im having trouble figuring out which software would be best to make it in.

Those look like vector graphics to me so illustrator.

100% - vector graphic all the way.

Gimp for raster, Inkscape for vector. For this particular project, I would go vector.
