I figured I’d use the Chinese characters, which I’ve never done before, so hopefully they look ok.

Nice! I actually clicked to do one of these this morning. but the photo, quote, and wiki I got were all so banal, that I didn’t even give it a try.
I hear you. Sometimes it’s those horrible ones that make the most interesting results. Then again sometimes it’s like polishing a turd.
^^This. I’ve tried a few times over the past couple weeks and the results have been yucky at best So, I lose my mojo and move on
I hear you and agree with you. I do a quarterly newsletter for a client. Sometimes the toughest issues (boring articles and not much in terms of imagery) produce the best results. It’s very much a case of being forced to think harder and get more creative. The CD combination I drew this morning wasn’t necessarily bad, it was just “meh.” I’d rather have bad. But I’ll put on my big boy pants and have another go at it and see what I get.
Is there really such a thing as a bad photo and a too-tight deadline when you have Photoshop filters to mess with?
Nice!
Only if the band is the Lovin’ Spoonful.
I’m tellin’ ya …
I’m only getting reallyyyy bad pics lately. I wasn’t going to do this one … but I remember B’s comment about filters. Well no filter was helping so I just made a pattern
I was browsing Adobe Fonts this evening, spotted this wonderful face, and knew I had to use it for something.
