As for our little memory. I’ve managed to piece together what I could find of a free work request we were given back in 2011 by a fellow claiming to be an Escort/Stripper. He posted a picture and wanted us to give him a six pack so he looked more buff. Of course the obvious response was won’t your clients know it’s a lie as soon as you take off your shirt? He was also informed of how much we LOVE free work requests. He persisted with things like it would only take a few minutes … and can’t we just help a guy out. Of course hilarity ensued and folks got busy. It was one of the funniest threads going. I wish I could have saved the conversation and found all the pics. Anyhoo… this is what followed. Enjoy

I’ve been working 7 days a week lately so looking forward to not working too much this weekend. I have some work but no immediate deadlines so I should be fine. I have a friend’s baby shower tomorrow. I haven’t seen her since before she got knocked up.
Um, you know, instead of discouraging free work requests, perhaps we need to encourage it on here … because I remember participating in that at the time. That was a classic.
Happy weekend! It’s been a busy week for me at work and at home. I got to New Orleans a little bit ago and plan to celebrate Mardi Gras all weekend. Tomorrow will be my fun day directing a photo shoot of the Queen of Endymion. I mentioned it in a thread last week. Sunday I’ll be out on St. Charles Ave. all day going to parades. I’m going back home Sunday night or Monday morning. My office is closed for Mardi Gras until Wednesday so yay for a 4 day weekend
Happy Saturday, yesterday was crazy so I’m catching up now. I think I may have missed abman, I don’t know how, I think I was a gdfr back then… Mystery.
Going to spend the weekend in the snow with the family, ski, snowboard and probably snow fort making. Of course Olympics on PVR too
A good time was had by all! It was fun to go around with the queen and see all the behind the scenes celebrations. After she got her hair and makeup done we went to the Superdome where she and all of her maids got dressed. Then we went to a special mass in the clubhouse of the Superdome with the archbishop. After that we were off to several restaurants for toasts. It was fun to see how they transport the huge headdresses and such. Sunday my daughter and I stayed out on St. Charles Ave all day for parades. We got rained on but it wasn’t cold so it was all good. Happy Mardi Gras!
