It’s the first Friday in November and it’s Día de Muertos also known as The Day of the Dead. Día de Muertos is a Mexican holiday celebrated throughout Mexico, in particular the Central and South regions, and by people of Mexican heritage elsewhere. The multi-day holiday focuses on gatherings of family and friends to pray for and remember friends and family members who have died, and help support their spiritual journey.

I’m not sure what my plans are for the weekend.
Our fall color is peaking this week, and it’s been gorgeous. Unfortunately, it’s been accompanied by rain and gray skies.
We’ll see. Always plenty to do around the house, and I can always stand to squeeze a few extra hours of work in on the weekends.
