We used to see these fairly often. Harmless – unless you are a bird. They could get pretty big. This one was about 7-8 feet long and sat above us in a tree one morning while we took our coffee. They weren’t usually as brightly coloured as this. It stuck around for a while. Stunning in real life. The pics don’t do it justice.
