Happy Women's Day Friday! 👩

women%202

The first International Women’s Day was held March 19, 1911. Women socialists and trade unions held an earlier Women’s Day on the last Sunday in February, 1908. The event grew from there, and has been celebrated annually since. The focus is upon women workers, and advancing women’s rights in the workforce, politics and society.

I wish that were the case here. I’m working from home today and this is what I’m seeing from the studio window. No shorts for this weekend. Maybe next! :biking_man: :sunny:

I just realized, not only is it a great day to celebrate women, but here in the U.S., daylight saving time starts on Sunday. Spring is just barely around the corner (despite the snow today).

That is a pretty sweet view!

It’s a little on the gray side here. But it’s 51, so out come the shorts.

We are really having a sunny day here. It was bitter cold this morning but it’s warmed up to 33°. That’s a dang near heatwave 'round these parts

I meant to mention that … the addled old brain forgot  Thank you
