Help me locate a graphic design book

Back in the 1980’s-90’s, a local art supply store had a book on graphic design that had a chapter breaking down the creation of a laundry detergent box design, from initial drawings to revisions to final concept (might have been Tide detergent). It also gave detailed explanations during the revisions of why a certain font was used, why a certain color was used, etc. because of the psychological effect on the consumer. I didn’t buy the book and don’t recall the title; I’m hoping someone here knows the book I’m talking about and can identify it for me! Thanks!
