How do i use data merge in indesign?

Does anybody know how to place informations from a row of cells of an excel file automatically in a block of text with different characteur styles for its cell from the excel

The imported data will pick up the formatting set up in InDesign. So if the target in InDesign is set up with a style of “name” or “body copy” or “phone number” or whatever, that’s the style the data will be when imported. There are a bunch of video tutorials on YouTube for InDesign data merge. I’d suggest you start there and let us know if there are more specific questions.
