It might be a photograph of a statue or it might be AI.

Judging from the bad cropping of the crown, I’d say it’s a photo of a porcelain statue too.
While it could be AI, it doesn’t have some of the weird stuff you’d usually see - and you wouldn’t see a bad crop like that.

The other thing that made me question whether or not it was AI was the shallow depth of field. The eyes are sharp, as they should be, but the knuckles and feet that are just off of that plane are soft on focus. (Though I suppose AI could do this, too, or it could have been done after the fact.)

If it were me, I’d would save myself a lot of problems by using a stock photo. A lot less time wasted and cheaper too.

Unless they want to create their own art to sell t-shirts or something. Stock licenses get sticky in that regard. Of course, there is the copyright on the sculpture used to take the photo to take into account.
