Wondering how one would achieve the pin hole like background in photoshop, seen in the below screen grab.

- Draw a small circle on a new layer
- Step and repeat the circles in the desired pattern and duplicate the layer
- Apply Inner Shadow from the top of the circles on one layer and set this layer to Multiply
- Apply Inner Glow from the bottom of the circles on the other layer and set this layer to Screen
As long as these two layers are on top of everything else, you will get the required effect. You can also do this in InDesign.
