How to prevent Media Encoder from using too much GPU?

After realizing that Adobe Media Encoder does not utilize the GPU to the fullest if the encoder H.264 is used, I installed a plugin named “voukoder” which lets you select Nvenc encoder. This did help to increase the render speed. However, while using it the GPU usage began frequently rising up to a 100% causing serious lags while doing anything else on the computer. Hence, I tried using H.264 after the incident hoping I’d be able to perform other tasks just like the way… before installing Voukoder. Unfortunately, Media Encoder still ends up running into this problem while rendering.

Here’s my PC specs(in case it’s required):
CPU: Intel - Core i7-8700 3.2GHz 6-Core
Motherboard: Gigabyte - B360 HD3 ATX LGA1151
RAM: G.Skill - Ripjaws V Series 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400
Storage: WD Green 120GB
Storage: Western Digital - Caviar Black 1TB
GPU: Gigabyte - GeForce GT 730 2GB

Thanks in advance!:clap::clap::clap:

Do you have … Render at maximum … turned on?

Not your issue but there’s a ton of advice in this thread…
