I am looking to recreate the white spots/lines that you see on this poster. How can do this the easiest way? Or do I have to do it manually? It seems that this designer applied transparency?
Get some grunge brushes and apply it on a layer(s) above the artwork - and apply transparency either effects or reduce the opacity.
Pretty simple.
