How's your weather?

Wow :flushed:

We don’t get them here often either. But, when we do, they are usually over by the time we realize what’s happening

Here in Ireland, getting colder and also a lot of wings as always but sometimes nice sun all day.

This (AI generated I think) comic strip explains Sydney during summertime perfectly:

That’s funny. In the last panel the character has six fingers in his left hand where there are five in the third panel.

Still can’t say it’s AI or not.

I knew a lady when I was a kid who had two thumbs on the same hand. She worked in the drug store as a cashier. I remember her dropping some change on the floor and cracking a joke to my mother about being all thumbs.

A gorgeous, warm, and sunny day! The warmest we have had in months :smiling_face_with_three_hearts:

It’s 64° F here at our house. Our apricot tree is breaking out in blossoms. It’s way too early in the year for that, but apricot trees aren’t known for their common sense.

Beautiful weather today and, with DST starting, today is the beginning of after work group bicycles rides.

This was us last week. We were near 70º every day.

Now we are barely above 30º most days and it’s snowing again LOL

I went out to do errends this morning, the sun is shining, the birds are singing.
Went into the car wash and came out in the middle of a white-out blizzard. Probably only qualified as a “snow squall” but it was pretty intense. Now the wind is roaring down the valley. Hate that.

The wind is horrible here right now. Of all the weather stuff .. wind makes me the most nervous :flushed:

Los Angeles was a very pleasant 62 degrees at 7am this morning. It’s now 97, a swing of 35 degrees. And there are spiders and insects everywhere. I go for bike rides around dusk and was swallowing a lot of bugs, so I dug out a covid mask and am going to start wearing that.

It was a rainy first day of Spring for us here in Upstate NY. We had massive winds on Monday and it took out power for thousands of homes and businesses. Some said they had tornado force winds. It took out transformers and countless trees came down taking the lines with it. It was a mess. It took National Grid about 4 days to get everyone back up and running. Those guys and gals worked 24/7. Today however was mild even though it rained. And right on cue, I saw the first bug of the year. Yay!

This was us a couple days ago and it’s been in the low 30’s and very windy (making it feel even colder on these old bones). Today it’s sunny and almost 70  Regardless of how hard Mother Nature is trying to stop it, Spring will eventually have sprung

The back-and-forth sea saw of spring weather is fun. April is a tease, but the emerging leaves and flowers always win out. I love this time of year. April just might be my favorite month, followed closely by May.

Within the last week, we’ve had windows open, had the AC on, and had the furnace on. On the plus side, everything outside is green and luscious looking. The view from me desk right now…
