I designed 50 affirmation cards and made $10

Hey everyone,

I just made $10 from my digital printable side project and honestly I can’t describe how good it feels to earn money from my printable project.

I’ve been building side projects for a while but none of them really worked out. Over time my motivation and confidence became very low. During some of my lowest moments motivational quotes and positive words helped me feel better and regain some confidence.

Because of that, I created a set of positive affirmation cards for myself. I printed them and started reading them in the morning, at night, and whenever I was feeling down. They genuinely helped me stay positive and focused.

Later I decided to upload the cards to Gumroad just to see what would happen. To my surprise I made 2 sales and earned my first $10 online.

It may not sound like much but for me it’s a huge milestone. Not only because of the money but because something I created for myself is now helping other people too. It makes me feel like I’ve finally built something useful.

You can check out the cards here: Positive Affirmation Cards

I’d really love to hear your thoughts. What do you think about the cards? Any feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Well for me they look really nice, have you ever think about to show these cards to a company which sells cards? (Like Tarot, Blackjack and etc……) who knows? Maybe they would be interested in your product! (did you patented this? Then you should! Because is this your own invention! )

You mean like all these others with the same “invention”?

actually yes, these are my cards. I am not sure about the partnership idea. but I will do some research and see how it goes. thanks for the idea.

I don’t have the hard card yet. mine is printable only.

You designed them - and used them - and now they’re selling!

Great going! They obviously work! Best of luck with them.

Honestly, I think the first $10 is way more important than the amount itself. It proves that a complete stranger saw value in something you made and was willing to pay for it. That’s a huge milestone.

I also like that the project came from something that actually helped you personally instead of chasing trends. Products with a real story behind them usually connect better with people. I’d keep improving it, maybe add different themes or bundles over time. Congrats on the first sales, and hopefully they’re the first of many.
