I’m new here, and I’ll mostly be chatting about web design.
I’d love to learn from your experiences as designers using open-source tools.
Do you have any favorites? What do you love about them, or what keeps you from using them? I’m curious about how different designers approach their workflows outside the traditional proprietary ecosystem.
I work as the content lead at Penpot, and we’ve just launched a free UI course built entirely around open-source principles and I’m particularly interested in what other designers seek out when learning new skills. Feedback is always, always welcome!
