I heard about Processing (which looks pretty difficult) and I know a bit of the basics of After Effects, but surely there might be other ways too?
Wow! The work on the website linked to from the top example is fascinating. I’m guessing his graduate committee was impressed too. Like LandOfFae, I’d be very interested in knowing how they were created and built.
