I’m now at the stage of handing over to client, and I’m wondering what to include in the file.
So far cursory research has told me I’ll need the following:
The original Illustrator file (Obviously)
A PSD version
Black Version of Logo with transparent background (EPS, PNG Format)
White Version of Logo with transparent background (EPS, PNG Format)
Standard Colour Version of Logo with transparent background (EPS, PNG Format)
Standard version non transparent as EPS
Standard version non transparent as JPG
Standard version non transparent as PNG
I’m wondering about sizing though as I’m not sure what’s my responsibility and what’s theirs.
Baring in mind I’m making them the largest possible size in their categories so the client can easily rescale down if need be. Applications for the logo will be
From what I can gather, according to what the client plans on using it on, I need Favicon Size, 16 x 16px RGB
web,/ Social Media Size 800 x 800 px RGB
Print Small so about, 2" height CMYK (For Business cards, letter heads etc)
Print Large, for theatre posters, havn’t worked this one out yet, but at a guess I’l make it about 8.27 in height. To give plenty of play room.
I’ve also heard somewhere it’s good to make an additional 5000 x 5000 px size one.
Any further help would be much appreciated.
