please what are the things I should consider while building my logo portfolio?
any tips would be appreciated. As a freelancer, I want it to seem perfect and encourage clients to ask me for making their logos.

Always use your very best work.
I see this is in the student forum.
But you really need to know that a portfolio that only shows logos is not what a business is looking for in a designer. At least not clients that will be willing to pay any money.
Aim Higher. MUCH higher.
