try reading some, müller-brockmann, vignelli, Frutiger, tschichold or anything bauhaus.
youtube teaches you how to use software — nice.
but it doesn’t teach you theory, ideas or attitudes… and it is quite uninspiring.
I quoted this for the simple reason that it deserves to be said and read twice.
