macOS Tahoe

Has anyone here installed macOS Tahoe on their Macintosh? My computer is a bit too old for the upgrade, but I’m still wondering about the pros, cons, and potential bugs from those who have used the new OS for a while.

One of the largely superficial changes that I’m sure I wouldn’t like is the “liquid glass” look (visual gimmickry and obfuscation) that’s already on my iPhone. I suppose that’s more of a personal preference than a pro or con, though.

For the past several years, macOS upgrades have seemed awfully unexciting or not especially useful to me. I’m wondering if Tahoe is more of the same or something worth having.

My computer should be ale to run Tahoe, but, no, I have not updated.

Side rant, I sure wish Apple would just use the OS version number as the standard nomenclature instead of park names or cats or whatever. It’s easier to remember that OS 2 comes after OS 1 that some seemingly random park name comes after some other seemingly random park name.

I haven’t upgraded yet either. We do have one new machine running it at work and it seems to integrate okay. Had a few hiccups at first but figured it out (or not so much, just worked around it with an older print machine.)

Tahoe runs well on my M1 and M1 Max.
This is the first time I use the current OS on my workstation.
No problems at all here.
The only feature that comes to my mind right now worth mentioning is clipboard history, maybe spotlight actions.

Nah still in some os version not sure which.

Still on cc 2023 moving up soon.

Did notice photoshop install for 2026 came with warning.

Anyway not upgrading till necessity.
