Hello. New here. Self taught marketer/graphic designer.
Working on a quarter page magazine ad for an aviation parts company.
Would love some feedback on the layout/design/whatever else and what I could do better.
Thank you!

Thank you!
My first impulse was to question the background pattern as unnecessary clutter. My next thought was whether using x-bold text for everything was a little too much. However, after thinking about it, I decided those things gave it a look and feel that worked for the subject matter but was still different enough to stand out.
I think it works.
I usually agree with @Just-Bâs critiques, but I have a different take on this.
The primary visual â or the thing my eye goes to first â is the monitor with the website. Who cares? Every business has a website. Thatâs not what youâre selling. Youâre selling the convenience of having easy access to 400,000+ jet parts. That should be what the reader sees first, and you have it sort of buried on the page.
Also, the only thing that could be considered a CTA is the phone, URL, and email, and you have that at the top of the page.
I think the whole ad needs to be reworked. Get rid of the monitor and put more visual emphasis on the benefit statement.
Will the advertisement be printed full bleed or within the type area?
In the former case, the important elements should be further away from the left and right edges of the paper. This is due to the bleed, but above all because of a possible loss of visibility due to the narrowness of the binding.
The ad says, âJust one click away.â Will this be a clickable electronic ad? If not, maybe Iâm overthinking something that doesnât matter since youâre mostly just suggesting that anyone can conveniently buy parts online, even if clicking isnât possible.
Inverters is in it twice
FYI ⊠the OP is gone so the post defaulted to system so the other replies can remain visible.
I am ready to give helping people unless they are established members.
âPower Supply Startersâ could all be on the same line if the first instance of âinvertersâ was removed.
