Need Feedback on Logo for Embroidery

Hi everyone,

I’ve created a logo in Illustrator for a client that they’re really happy with. They’ve asked whether it would translate well into embroidery for uniforms, particularly in terms of preserving detail. The logo is in a semi-cartoon, silhouette-artwork style.

I understand that proper spacing between elements is important to prevent merging during stitching, but I’m not sure if the current spacing—or any other aspect—is sufficient.

As this is still an ongoing project, I’d prefer to share the logo privately. If you have experience with embroidery digitizing, I’d really appreciate your insight. I’m not sure if sending files privately is against forum rules, but I assume it’s okay. Please feel free to message me—thank you in advance!

It’s fine, but you’ll get a much better response if you post the logo here.

Okay, I’ll send it in my next post and delete it once I’ve received the feedback I need. For some reason, I can’t edit the initial post, perhaps it’s already too long since my first post

Yeh that’s fine for embroidery - no issues.

Thanks Smurf, as always!

I like your illustration work.

Thanks! Honestly, I’m still learning — illustration isn’t my strong point, and it’s not something I do regularly. But I do enjoy leveling up and pushing myself out of my comfort zone. Surviving as a designer is tough, lol.
