I practice of making poster desings to showcase my skills on my portfolio, but i m just confused whether my desings are matching the market or not. And how can i improve my designs for market. I want to know the platform where i can post my post my designs and recieve some useful tips for my designs.
My advice would be the following. If you haven’t yet started, get a formal education in Graphic Design from a Brick and mortar College / University (Depending where you live). Only if you’re serious of having a career in this industry, but posters aren’t everything, in this industry there are many different types of projects a customer could bring you. I don’t do many posters these days.
As for getting critics and tips, you can post your work to the crit pit, but be ready for some hard and honest reviews.
