Hello, I was given an assignment at school: to design and realize a spatial installation in which the given social topic is communicated and made spatially tangible.
The design components used are typography, large-format photography (poster - writing/image), interior design elements (slants, heels, flags, pedestals, etc.) and a furniture constellation made up of several stools, which makes the theme tangible as a composition in terms of content and form. This also includes the topic of democracy and participation. Political processes should be transparent and comprehensible. Does anyone have an idea how to design a room like this?
You were given the assignment. There is some assumption that you would know how to design such a room.
Are you in the US? Look up a local National Park and check out their visitor center installations.
or try a web search using these words

Exhibit typography can be dimensional or flat vinyl or even stenciled on a wall. Or it could be custom printed wallcover. Large format is in the eye of the beholder. Full wall murals? or individual panels with imagery and copy adjacent.
I have no idea what a slant or a heel is (and been doing exhibits for 30 years.)
Flags and pedestals, sure.
A furniture constallation of several stools, could be anything from-off-the shelf stools with custom printed fabric or hard seats, or custom made intricately designed things made completely from rough stock.
You get to do the research on Democracy and Participation. That’s where a good Civics class would come into play.
