Photo resizers

What third party programs do you use to resize photos? I design a lot of large scale graphics and vehicle wraps and have been trying out On1 Resizer and love it but curious if anyone is using something else.

If you want to try On1 go removed

You selling, aren’t you. Cuz they are all pretty much the same.
Photoshop, the latest release is pretty ballsy with its newest algorithms. It’s what I use. I’ve yet to meet a third party that beats it.

But you know the answer to large format right?
Garbage in, Garbage out.
The photo has to be really good to start with. There is no FM (“effing magic” AKA PS-CSI) that’ll make a 4"x5" at 72ppi go to billboard sizes.

Hey @nk.gd I removed your other reply since it was on a year old post. I’ll leave this post but, I’m removing the link.

Since you have been here a while, I am going to assume you are not spamming and just sharing something that works for you

Either way however … they don’t get a free advertisement

Thanks for understanding.

I’ve never found anything better than Photoshop. If you’re referring to something that will enlarge photos and magically create accurate imagery that didn’t exist in the original, I’ve yet to find anything that does much beyond sharpening up edges and making wild guesses about what might be between pixels.

Everybody’s doin’ a large new image now
(Come on pixels do the interpolation)
I know you’ll get to like it if you give it a new size now
(Come on pixels do the interpolation)
My cousin’s sons dogwalkers can do it with ease
It’s easy resizing your P I Cs
So come on, come on, do the interpolation with me
You gotta swing your pixels now
Come on pixels, jump up, jump back
Well, I think you got the knack, ohh
Now that you can do it, let’s make it larger now
(Come on pixels do the interpolation)
Chug-a chug-a pixels like a steam train now
(Come on pixels do the interpolation)
Do it nice and easy now don’t lose control
A little bit of bicubic and a lot of nearest neighbour
So come on, come on, do the interpolation with me
The interpolation
Come on, come on, the interpolation
Come on, come on, the interpolation
Come on, come on, come on, come on, come on
Move around the screen in an interpolation
(Come on pixels do the interpolation)
Do it anti-aliasing if you got the notion
(Come on pixels do the interpolation)
There’s never been an image that’s so easy to do
It even makes you happy when you’re feeling blue
So come on, come on, do the interpolation with me
You gotta swing your pixels now
Come on pixels, jump up, jump back
Well, I think you got the knack, ohh
Do the int, do the int do the interpolation
(Come on pixels, do the interpolation)
Do the int do the int, do the interpolation
(Come on pixels, do the interpolation)
Do it nice and easy now don’t lose control
A little bit of linear and a lot of Nyquist
So come on, come on, do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation with me
Do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation
Come on, come on, do the interpolation

Sorry - it was 4 in the morning, and when I think of image resizing and interpolation that song pops into my head… I’m weird.

I there was I thinking a beer or two had been involved

No I just woke up early. Am an early riser

What has “a beer or two” anything to do with “just woke up early”?
