Please, identify this typeface!

This may be challenging because the only characters I got are numerals.
The closest I’ve come to identifying this is Bodoni, Baskerville and similar…although the font I’m searching for has distinctly different characteristics.

I’m hoping for someone with Super Typographic Powers to help me out here.:sunglasses:

Thanks

Wow that’s it! Thank you very much @StudioMonkey ! I always admired people who can identify a font so quickly and precisely :sunglasses:

I just realise by this thread it’s actually funny in 2018 Google can search for equal looking images by an imput image pretty well, but there’s still nothing available to search for fonts by an example image of the font. They should add that some day 'cause a lot of designers are looking for equally looking font. So Google, if you’re reading this…

This is a tangent, but I wish Google would do the same for music. Don’t know the name of a song or who it’s by? Hum a bar or a few notes, and Google should be able to locate it. Shouldn’t be that difficult, should it?

@PrintDriver, I had never heard of that. I’ll need to give it a try. :grinning:

You beat me to it PD

You beat me too. I never tried it, but everybody I hear about is is pretty convinced about it. It’s been around for some time now. And there are more of 'em:

[btw: look at the date of the post: 2012/10/10… imagine the quality now]

I use Shazam for that - always to hand on my phone.

Maybe Google can’t, but MyFonts.com can do that and one or two others.

Thanks @StudioMonkey. I didn’t know that was already possibile. Great!
